What is eKYC?
eKYC stands for Electronic Know Your Customer which is a process designed to automate customer identity verification using advanced technology of customer face recognition and document validation.
Why is QNET implementing eKYC?
The eKYC is being implemented to ensure that all QNET distributors are verified, and all their online activities are kept secure and protected from online identity theft, including fraudulent transactions and activities.
I did my KYC process before; do I have to resubmit my documents again?
If you have successfully completed your KYC requirements and your status is already “VERIFIED”, you are no longer required to do the eKYC process. However, please note that eKYC verification validity may vary from country to country. QNET maintains the right to ask for further verification, if needed.
What is the process for eKYC?
Before you can access your Q Account and withdraw using eCard and Telegraphic Transfer, you are required to submit and complete the eKYC verification process via the QNET Mobile App. Upon access of eCard and Telegraphic transfer module in the Mobile App, you will be required to submit the following:
– Clear photo of your face (selfie photo)
– Clear photo of your valid Identification Document (National ID/Passport/Driver’s License)
– Clear photo of document with details of your current address (utility bill, credit card bill, etc.)
Once all the requirements are submitted, the system will verify document authenticity and check for any mismatched information against your QNET registration details. Average time of system validation is less than 1 minute.
I don’t have the QNET Mobile app, do I have to install it for eKYC?
Yes, the QNET Mobile App is essential to the eKYC process. You can download and install the QNET mobile app from Google Play Store/IOS App Store/Huawei App Gallery.
Do I have to send documents for eKYC if I want to withdraw my money using Aerapass and/or MyPrepaid Card?
Yes. In Order to use these Q Account features, you need to send the documents for eKYC to activate the Aerapass e-Wallet or QNET My Prepaid Card.
Why do I have to take a selfie?
As part of customer verification process, QNET needs to ensure that our customers are real people, thereby preventing identity theft and misrepresentation of individuals who sign-up to become an Independent Representatives of QNET.
I have lost my ID and/or driving license, can I submit another document for eKYC for verification?
Yes, QNET accepts other valid IDs such as National ID Card, Passport and other government-issued ID card (may vary for each country).
I didn’t renew my ID; can I submit my non-renewed ID for verification?
All the ID copy that submitted for eKYC verification should within the validity date. Please renew the ID copy or use other ID copy for eKYC verification.
Why do I have to provide address proof?
As part of customer verification process prior processing withdrawal request, QNET needs to ensure that the customer address is a valid legitimate address. This is also a mandatory requirement prior to processing international fund transfers from QNET to your local bank when your request for Telegraphic Transfer settlement. It also helps our fulfillment team track and deliver to your preferred address all your door-to-door orders.
I am currently living in a foreign country and can’t provide address proof under my own name, is it possible to submit under house owner’s name?
If you have successfully completed your KYC requirements and your status is already “VERIFIED”, you are no longer required to do the eKYC process. Can I provide bank statement under different person’s name, e.g., relative, wife, husband, etc.?
Yes, bank statements are accepted for address verification process. Please ensure that the address details are valid and searchable in that particular country.
My name is misspelled shall I proceed with name correction before eKYC?
Please send the request to GSC from self-service portal for name correction before proceeding with the eKYC submission.
Why is my eKYC is rejected? What shall I do?
There are a few possible reasons why your eKYC submission has been disapproved/declined. Our Global Support Executive will assist within 2 business days after you have encountered errors in your eKYC submission
I am not interested to send documents for eKYC process. What will happen to my account?
Since eKYC submission is a mandatory requirement, you will have a limited access to your Virtual Office and Mobile App specifically Q Account features and functions, if you are unverified.
My account is non-renewed; Do I have to renew it first?
Currently, only active IR accounts are required to submit and complete the eKYC verification status.
When is the latest that I can do eKYC?
eKYC will be mandatory for all World Plan countries starting December 2021 and will continue to rollout by 2022.
How long does it take for my eKYC to be completed?
eKYC submission and verification process thru the QNET mobile app approximately takes between 2-3 minutes including feedback on the verification results.
How do I know when my eKYC is completed?
After the eKYC submission, the QNET mobile app will be displaying a verification result if you have successfully been VERIFIED. Once you are successfully verified, you will be able to access the full features and functions of your Virtual Office and Q Account.
